Math Brain

There is no such thing as a math brain.  It's all about our math mindset.  How a student feels about him or herself has everything to do with motivation, persistence, and agency.  When teachers and parents share their feelings about math and provide experiences where students can excel after productive struggle, then growth can happen.

We need to "go at the pace of the learning by giving kids space to think, don't rush to them to fix it."  How do they approach a learning impasse?
